Walnut Knolls

Welcome to Walnut Knolls

Also referred to as “The Knolls,” this close-knit community in an unincorporated area of south Walnut Creek is tucked in a serene setting of gently rolling hills. The neighborhood was established in the 1940s, with plenty of activities for residents hosted by the Walnut Knolls Association.
There’s a private pool club with a playground and barbecue area for residents. Enjoy the annual egg hunt, Memorial Day picnic, a Casino night, 4th of July Parade and Barbecue, a Ladies Luncheon as well as events at Halloween and a Winter Celebration.
Children can attend highly rated Murwood Elementary, part of the Walnut Creek School District, and later feed to Walnut Creek Intermediate. Las Lomas, part of the Acalanes School District, is the local high school.
